My story
I spent years competing at an International level, but in truth, I was struggling. My tendency to overthink and analyse was crippling my performance. I couldn’t consistently find that space of effortlessness from which I performed at my best. Effortless is something that we can all relate to. Every athlete’s experience of performing at their best corroborates this. There is just a huge misunderstanding as to how it occurs. I attributed it to how I was feeling, what I was wearing, the weather, self-talk, mantras, and even holding my hands above my head.
I was stuck because of an insufficient understanding of how my psychological system worked. All of the sports psychology and self-help that I came across promised to deal with all of the symptoms of my misunderstanding, the pressure, anxiety, nerves and tension. These interventions seemed to work sometimes but not others, or worse, not at all.
When I discovered teachings on the fundamental principles behind psychology, everything changed. And I mean that—it changed my life.
It now changes the lives of my clients, from professional sportspeople to Olympians to high-achieving professionals.

I only work with highly-driven, passionate, committed individuals who have a burning desire to be the best that they can be.
I don’t offer one-off sessions, hacks or a quick-fix approach (although things can change in a moment).
I work with a small number of individuals at any one time, offering 1-2-1 sessions and WhatsApp support over an initial 6-month period. You have a coach, trainer, physiotherapist, and nutritionist; I’m the missing part of your support team that will help you reach another level.
You need to be ready to give up everything you previously believed to be true to discover a radically different experience of sport and life.

I work with a new understanding of psychology known as the 3 principles. Where as psychology looks to equip you with tools and techniques to help you cope with your current circumstance or problem I essentially work in reverse.
Ludwig Wittgenstein said that “A man will be imprisoned in a room with a door that's unlocked and opens inwards; as long as it does not occur to him to pull rather than push.”
Now if we put a tiger in the room with you traditional psychology might offer you a chair, tiger training techniques or camouflage. All useful but at the end of the day you’re still stuck in a room with a tiger.
I work to help you see that you can pull the door and walk out.
